Remix in Google Messages uses the Nano Banana Gemini model for image editing and works across MMS for all users, not just Google Messages subscribers. The feature launches initially in English with RCS enabled across seven countries including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, and New Zealand. Notification Summaries remain English-only for now but provide quick recaps of lengthy chat notifications directly in the notification shade.
