Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 22, 2025

Welcome to AutomationNewsToday (“the Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at automationnewstoday.com and any related services, features, content, or applications offered by us (collectively, the “Services”).

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR SERVICES. BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR USING THE SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, or if you are under 18, that you are using the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your ongoing agreement to these Terms, as they may be amended from time to time.

2. Description of Service

AutomationNewsToday is a news aggregation service. We curate, summarize, and provide links to news articles and other content from third-party sources (“Third-Party Content”) related to the field of automation. We are not the original publisher of the majority of the news content displayed on our Site. Our service is designed to provide a centralized source of information by identifying, excerpting, and linking to publicly available news articles.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1. Our Content

The Services, including but not limited to the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of content, the Site’s design, user interface, logos, trademarks, and all other proprietary elements are the intellectual property of AutomationNewsToday or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

3.2. Third-Party Content and Fair Use

The news articles, headlines, excerpts, images, and other content we aggregate are the intellectual property of their respective owners and creators. AutomationNewsToday does not claim ownership over the Third-Party Content we link to and summarize.

We believe our use of Third-Party Content constitutes a “fair use” under applicable copyright law, including but not limited to the Copyright Act of 1976 (17 U.S.C. § 107). Our use is transformative in nature, as we provide a curation and aggregation service for the benefit of our users. We use only limited, verbatim excerpts from original articles and always provide clear and prominent attribution, including the source name and a direct link to the original, full-length article on the source website. Our aggregation drives traffic and provides attribution to the original publishers, which serves the public interest and the copyright law’s objective of promoting the progress of science and useful arts.

If you are a copyright owner and believe that content on our Site infringes your copyright, please refer to our DMCA Policy in Section 8 of these Terms.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or ethical code;
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others;
  • Post or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services or the servers and networks connected to the Services.

5. User-Submitted Content

Certain areas of the Services may allow you to submit, post, or display content, such as comments (“User Content”). You retain any copyright and other proprietary rights you hold in the User Content you submit.

By submitting User Content, you grant AutomationNewsToday a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform such User Content in connection with the Services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish the User Content you submit and to grant us the license outlined above. We do not endorse any User Content and are not responsible for its accuracy, integrity, or quality. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, screen, and remove User Content at our sole discretion for any reason or no reason, without notice to you.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

Our Services contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by AutomationNewsToday. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Disclaimer of Liability for Third-Party Content: AutomationNewsToday acts solely as an aggregator and does not create, verify, or endorse the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Third-Party Content, including news articles, opinions, advice, or statements. We provide access to this content for informational purposes only. Any reliance you place on such Third-Party Content is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by you or any other visitor to the Site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

You acknowledge and agree that AutomationNewsToday shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.
